I am an experienced family and fertility lawyer, mediator, and collaborative divorce practitioner. 

I founded Conception Law to support clients through significant life transitions, from building or growing their family, to navigating the beginning or end of a relationship. My priority is to protect my clients and guide them through their matters with warmth and expertise.

After witnessing firsthand the emotional and financial toll of litigation on families, I chose to focus my practice exclusively on settlement-based solutions, offering practical out-of-court approaches to resolving disputes.

With a background in psychology, I earned my law degree from the University of Toronto in 2010. I articled at a national law firm before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2011. My legal career has since spanned multiple jurisdictions—I was admitted as a lawyer in New South Wales, Australia, in 2017 and called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2019. Most recently, I practiced family and fertility law for six years at a leading family law firm in Vancouver. 

My work in fertility law extends beyond my legal practice. I served as a committee member for the BC Law Institute’s Parentage Law Reform Project, collaborating with fertility clinic leaders, academics, and legal experts to publish the Report on Parentage: A Review of Part 3 of the Family Law Act, recommending key legislative reforms to parentage law through assisted reproduction. I have also guest-lectured at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, and contributed to media discussions on fertility law.

Outside of the office, I am a busy mom of two. In my spare time, I enjoy café hopping, exercising at Orange Theory, and connecting with people from various cultures. I have lived in five countries, am fluent in Swedish, and have studied Spanish for many years as my hobby.
